Hey guys! I know I haven't blogged in ages, so here I am with a huge haul trying to make it up :) I hope you like it! These are a mix of online purchases and some stuff I got from the mall that I have collected throughout the month of August. (I know this is really really late. I am sorry from the bottom of my heart.) August was mad at me for some reason.. I experienced so much stress from school and I had terrible breakouts. Along with that, my HG concealer (Elianto Cream Concealer) went missing and conveniently enough, Elianto got faced out of the Philippines, so I had to find a replacement for my concealer asap and a good mineral foundation to cope with my breakouts.

Maybelline Pure Pact Mineral Foundation

The first thing I got was this Maybelline Pure Pact Mineral Foundation. The first time I saw this at the mall, I said to myself, I gotta have this. I always loved mineral makeup but I tend to get messy when working with loose powders. This one's great. I first bought the refill to test if the product was good before buying the compact just to make sure I didn't waste any money. So far so good. It's 2-way, has an SPF of 30, it's compact, very handy, keeps me matte, and it's mineral! Definitely worth the money.

The compact for the foundation looks really nice. It's one of the main reasons why I got this and why I actually love the foundation. Haha. The compact looks really sleek and it has a mirror. Perfect for retouching.

I love it! Overall it cost me 699Php for both the refill and the compact.

Marionnaud Angled Brush

I got this Marionnaud Angled Brush mainly because of Say. She loves it so much and now I do too! The brush is so dense and soft. Does a great job contouring my face.

Maybelline Long Extreme Stiletto Mascara

Maybelline Long Extreme Stiletto. I itched for this after watching Xiaxue's tutorial on how to get dramatic bottom lashes without using falsies. I finally got my hands on this one! I love it!

Fanny Serrano Two Way Cake in Organza

I got this before I realized I needed a mineral powder foundation. I have heard a lot of raves with this product so I decided to give it a try. I love how Fanny Serrano's yellowish shades suits pinays well. I got the shade Organza. This gives medium to heavy coverage depending on the application.

Ever Bilena mousse Concealer

Maricarljanah and Noe of colorismyweapon uses this concealer so I decided to give this one a try as well since I was also in the hunt of a good concealer that time. I would say this one's okay. Not as good as my previous concealer that I lost :/ This one's cheap and worth a try.

Watson's Large Paddle Brush

I like this paddle brush. Keeps my long hair soft and tangle-free.

Nyx Round Lip Gloss in Clear

I got Nyx products from Starmaine Cay, an online shop in Facebook. I bought a Clear Nyx Lipgloss and the famous Nyx Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk.

Nyx Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk

The package came in with a freebie. A nail polish from Nyx as well. Thanks, Starmaine!

Mary Kay Concealer in Beige 2

This Mary Kay Concealer I got off eBay. I first heard about how amazing this concealer was from Eloisa of Kikaysimaria. Thank you so much for sharing this, Eloisa! I love it so much! You're such a lifesaver! :)

This concealer is amazing. It has buildable coverage and I love how light it feels on the skin. I got the shade, Beige 2 which perfectly matches my yellow skin tone. What I don't like about this is that it's not locally available. I think I'll be needing a back up for this one.

N.Y.C. Bronzing Face Powder

The last thing that I got online was this Bronzing Face Powder from N.Y.C. I also got this from eBay. Seller's username is jnlink777. I like how this bronzer gives my face a very natural sun-kissed look.

That is it! :) Comment if you want me to make a detailed review on a specific product or if you have any questions :) I hope you like my haul! Till next! :)

A few weeks ago, I went to the Phil-Cosmetic Expo 2011 at SM Megamall. It was my first time to attend a cosmetic expo so I kinda expected it to be as huge as the cosmetology event that was held at SMX last year. Unfortunately, this one wasn't what I expected it to be. Regardless, I still had fun during the event cause I came with my friend, Char. (She also blogged about her purchases during the event. You can check it out here.) We had a lot of fun even though the event kind of sucked. Lol!

Of course, I have a little haul for you guys! I just picked out a few stuff. I hope you like it!

When I say "few stuff" I really meant "few stuff"! Lol

The first booth that brightened up my day was the booth of Digital Traincase. It was quite a hassle to go there and pick up some stuff because the booth was really crowded. We actually waited for some of the customers to finish so we can have our turn to shop. Haha.

I'm always tempted to buy lipsticks online but at the same time hesitant since I'm quite skeptical about how the shades really look in real life. I don't want to risk buying something that I am not sure of, especially in lipsticks. Good thing Digital Traincase was present with a tester of everything they sell. I decided to get two round lipsticks from Nyx. Char and I went gaga over lipstick swatching.. and I'm guessing everyone else. Haha! After countless shade-swatching, I finally decided to get the shades, Frappucino and Tea Rose.

The small thing on the left was a freebie. A Nyx pigment. I love it! Thanks a bunch to Digital Traincase! :)

I love love love the shades that I got except for the fact that I find these lippies too pigmented.... not in a good way. They're way too soft and melt like crazy. I store these inside a freezer when I'm not using it.

Tea Rose is the shade on the top while Frappucino is the shade below

This is how Frappucino looks on me. It is a very natural shade. Perfect to wear on a daily basis. It kinda looks like your "natural-lip-but-better-color" lipstick. I love it so much! I still don't have a photo of me wearing the Tea Rose to show you guys but I guarantee it's also a gorgeous shade. I will definitely be updating this.

The last thing I got was this Finesse Hairspray from the Finesse Booth that I got for P 270.00. It came with a free makeup kit. I am actually in a hunt for a good hairspray to hold my curls. I haven't tried this yet. Lol I know it's been stuck on my dresser for a few weeks now.. Finals really bombarded my life with stress, leaving me no occasions to curl my hair or even dress up! I'm really happy that finals are finally over!

Anyway, I'm going to create a separate review on this hairspray when I get the chance to test drive this baby.

I really wish it was an "EXTRA HOLD HAIRSPRAY" :))

The freebie it came with..

The makeup kit looks like this. I actually love it :) I use this when I need to bring some of my makeup with me when I am in a hurry and have to do my makeup at school in my car. Haha. I am always in a hurry so this kit came in really handy for me.

So that's it ladies! I hope you enjoyed this post! If you have any questions, let me know. I'd be more than happy to be of help :)

How about you? Did you visit the Expo as well? What did you get? Please share it with me.. Feel free to comment or post a link of your haul on the comments section :) Thanks for reading!! :)

This is a late post again due to the same reason: school.

Around two weeks ago, I went to MOA with a friend to pick up some stuff for a makeup gig. I also ordered some palettes from LuLu Makeup the same week. My gig was very successful and I want to thank my friend and co-makeup artist, Beny Reginaldo for helping me out! :) With that, I have already tested out these products and have reviewed them too but I'm going to save that for another post to give a more in depth review. Watch out for it. :) For now I'm just going to show you guys the products I got. Aside from the Lulu Palettes, all of these are from Watson's.

I ordered two palettes from Lulu Makeup. The other one was given to me. These palettes helped me big time :)

I currently have Lulu's Paris Lip Palette, Morocco Palette, and Miami Palette. More to come! :)

James Copper's Cream Foundation in 04 and 05. I bought two shades so I can mix and match them with different skin tones/colors. The quality and coverage is beyond amazing... I will definitely post a review about this.

E.l.f.'s Eyelid Primer and Liquid Eyeliner Collection. Sold for only Php249.75 per box! I was supposed to buy the individual ones but it costs 129.75 each. So I opted for the three's instead to save (You only "save" if the product is great, but if it's not good then it becomes expensive and a waste of money) So was it really a bargain or a waste of money? Wait for my review! :)

I also bought 2 shades of blushes from Careline. These blushes are cheap yet awesome! :)

Foundation Brush from E.l.f.. My mom lost my Elianto foundation brush so I had to buy another one.

and lastly, Ever Bilena Compact Powder Refill. It's just a very sheer powder, perfect for finishing and touch ups.

Hope you enjoyed reading this!

Mini June Haul: Darkness, vnc, etc.

Hey everyone! I've been super busy at school, I forgot I had this haul. This haul is a month late now but I wanted to show you anyway since some of my purchases here are my personal favorites :) I just picked out a few items from my favorite store in ATC. The store doesn't exactly have a name because it's actually a stall. They sell korean cosmetics, accessories, false eyelashes etc. If you happen to live near Alabang you may want to check it out. It's the stall right across Daiso :)

You know that when I said "few" I really meant "few", right? :))

So the first thing I picked up were these Darkness False Eyelashes. These are my FAVORITE eyelashes! I wear this almost everyday at school. It's very natural looking. I'm gonna be posting a blog featuring my HG (Holy Grail) products and this one will definitely be in it :)

I super love love love love love love this!

I also got this Darkness Eyebrow Pencil in 03. Again, this will be featured in my HG post! This is the best eyebrow pencil I've tried so far. I've already finished around five of this and I'm thinking of getting back ups to make sure I don't run out :)) This only costs 70Php if I'm not mistaken. Very cheap yet very good quality.

03 is a dark brown shade

This is a notebook I got at National Bookstore. Perfect for "to-do" lists. Costs me Php119.75. A bit pricey for a small notebook. :)

I love the texture :)

I bought these awesome shades at BF Ruins. If you live in the south, you probably already know this place. It's a tiangge inside BF. It's one of the reasons why I love living in the south. Everything you need is near each other :) Anyway, this one ONLY cost me Php100. I'm not really a 'shades' person but I really needed one for driving cause my car's sun visor can't block the sun for me completely due to.. my height. I'm too small :/ I have to tilt my head just to avoid the sun! This was perfect :)

I also bought a pair of heels for school from vnc. Too bad wedges are not allowed in our school. I had to buy these even though I'm not used to wearing high heels. This was a good buy though. I got it on sale. From Php 2,900 to Php1,400! Steal right? :) They have limited stocks left. The bigger sizes were not available anymore. I guess I'm lucky to have the smallest shoe size ever. I'm a size 51/2-6. This shoe was their smallest size and was the last pair in this color!
